With less than a month and a half till my mid-November move in date, I am busy gathering all of the finishing touches for my home!
Next on the to-do list is a pre-dry wall meeting on Monday morning with the contractors to walk through and look at the inner workings and mechanical systems within the walls. Pretty much all of the furniture has been ordered, I just have a few more big things to cross off my list. Once all of the furniture, appliances, and decor is done it will be time for the best part - planning the housewarming party! I will update you all about the party when it gets a little closer so stay tuned!
Things I’m still looking for:
Washer and Dryer
Blinds
A rug for the second floor
Two small blue chairs and small table for first floor
Ceiling fans
TV mounts for four TVs
First Floor Bookshelf
I scored two identical white bookshelves!
My vision is to have the wall behind them painted blue to make the shelves really pop.
Then I will add my Louis Vuitton boxes, designer books and gold decor pieces
What I Purchased My Inspiration
Bar Cart Decor!
I found these beautiful crystal martini glasses and adorable neon “Cheers’ sign to add to the bar cart. It’s really starting to come together!
Mackenzie-Childs Parchment Check Kitchen Pieces
I have been eyeing these for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. These are from Bergdorf Goodman. Fun fact - you get 15% off your entire purchase if you sign up for emails!
I bought the small, medium and large canisters, the 3-quart tea kettle, the utensil holder, and the spoon rest
Second Floor Decor!
My theme for the second floor is emerald green, and I scored the best finds at HomeGoods this weekend! They all match perfectly!
Bench
Couch pillows
Throw blanket for my couch
Second Floor Painting
Also from HomeGoods, I found this beautiful painting that will hang above the couch and really tie together all the green throughout my floor plan.
You can see how the green pillow in the second picture compliments it well
Since I found this piece, now I will be searching for a neutral colored rug rather than a green rug since I have enough green accents to carry around the floor
First Floor Rug
I didn't want my whole house to be green so I chose a white and blue rug for the first floor that will match well with the blue accent wall.
Still looking for two small blue chairs and a small table
Live Luxuriously,
Katelyn
