My Luxury Designer Books Collection

I've spent the last two years collecting luxury designer books. It's kind of funny how it got started since I have never really been into books in general.

One Saturday, I was shopping with my mom in Louis Vuitton and was helping her pick out her next new bag. I remember wanting to buy something but didn't love any of the new collection, so I started to look around the store to see what else I could find. I came across a colorful stack of travel books and thought they were unique. I picked up one book expecting the price tag to be around $200 but was pleasantly surprised when our client advisor told me that it was only $58. She said she had more in the back and shortly came out with over 15 different options to show me. I picked out four and my obsession began.

A few weeks later, I was in HomeGoods and found a variety of designer books ranging from Vogue, Hermes, Chanel, YSL, and more! I spent my weekends bouncing to different home stores searching for more books and continued to build up my collection.

When the books were becoming harder to find, I started going directly to the source to find books that matched my style. I now have books directly from Dior, Tiffany & Co., Hermes and Louis Vuitton. Dior was definitely the priciest out of the bunch but it is a timeless piece that I will have forever. The other designers surprised me with the low prices of the books ranging from $25.00 - $95.00 each.

Below is a breakdown of some of the books that I have purchased throughout the years.

My plan for the books is to use them as decor pieces all throughout my home. Of course, stacking them all on one bookshelf is too boring!! My vision is to have them displayed on a glass coffee table in the living room, a bar cart in the dining room, and also frame some to have as wall art throughout the house.
